In 2022, we embarked on a meaningful journey with Chrysalis Dyspraxia Awareness, a non-profit devoted to illuminating the complexities of dyspraxia. Founded by Carol, a passionate advocate and Psychology graduate, the organization required a digital platform that was both informative and accessible. We, at Leeds Web Designer, were inspired by Carol’s personal story and commitment to raising dyspraxia awareness through talks, workshops, and one-on-one client engagement.
Our approach was methodical and collaborative. We crafted a website that embodies Chrysalis’s mission—engaging, educational, and empathetic to those living with dyspraxia. As we designed the layout and web pages, we maintained a focus on user experience, ensuring that the website was not only a repository of information but also a reflection of the community’s needs and Carol’s holistic approach to support.
Using WordPress, we built a site that Carol could manage and update with ease, emphasizing flexibility for future expansions, like developing a team to work with schools. Our aim was to create a site that not only served as an advocacy tool but also as a beacon of hope and understanding for those affected by dyspraxia.
At Leeds Web Designer, we pride ourselves on creating websites that exceed expectations—just as we did for Chrysalis Dyspraxia Awareness.
